Shaman's have used Palo Santo for centuries in their ritual ceremonies. It is said once the tree dies the spirit of the indigenous people are released.
How to use: Light your stick and let the smoke sit in a safe proof dish until it goes out. This is smudging.
Palo Santo does not burn for long periods i.e. like sage. It release properties with smoldering smoke.
You can re-light and take to several areas of your home to 'clear'. You can light your stick many times and reuse the same stick until it is gone.
